Power sector has been a key driver for socio-economic growth, and this has been evident in Bihar which has achieved phenomenal GDP growth rates riding on the back of an improved power scenario. Despite being interlaced with challenges such as inherently low industrial and commercial consumer bose, distribution companies have been able to achieve 100% electrification and increased power supply to all consumers. – Reproduced
