Water is the most precious source of life which is being exploited on a massive scale leading to rise in the problem of water scarcity. There is an increase in the issue of water crisis due to inefficient management of water and its effective supply. The situation of water issue that is quite common in national and international cities is no different in hill city Shimla. Therefore the present paper analyses geospatial availability of water form various sources and its usage in Shimal city along with the relevant measures that are to be taken for its conservation on a massive scale. – Reproduced
