Impact of climate change on human health: A comparative analysis of different regions of India - Bihar Journal of Public Administration - 21(2), Jul-Dec, 2024: p.740-753
Climate change has a lot of spillover effects on various walks of life. The present paper attempts a region-wise comparative analysis of the impact of climate change on the health of people in the different regions of India. The impact of climate change on health varies from region to region in terms of nature and cause. On the basis of secondary data, the study apprehends that the major health related impact of climate change in other regions will be observed in the northern region of India in the coming years. The paper asserts that there is an urgent need of such policies that enhance the provision of adaptation and mitigation facilities in India to minimize the rising health concerns of climate change in India in future. – Reproduced
