Using qualitative as well as quantitative methodologies, driven by the socio-ethnographical approach, the article finds that, even though certain groups of people are perceived as being resilient to flooding due to their ethnic practices, other geographical characteristics outweigh this benefit and make those households more vulnerable.- Reproduced
