There is a need for a critical interrogation of the “decolonial turn” through a scrutiny of the conceptual bases or the meaning of decoloniality and decolonisation, its stated objectives, and the merits of such objectives towards realising human emancipation, and the methodological and analytical bases of the decolonial paradigm. This article highlights the various pitfalls of the decolonial paradigm, which have strengthened the Hindu right in India. – Reproduced
