Enhancing Indo-Canadian cooperation in the era of globalisation: Strategies for the future - 2006 - p.791-810. - Oct-Dec

As the forces of globalisation gained momentum, the world economy began to change dramatically and swiftly to the benefit of the more open, liberalised economies, and as such technological developments, in transportation and communication decreased the natural barriers to trade. In the process, international trade increased in importance. To a regional power and to a burgeoning world power such as India, economic considerations became paramount. It is against this background that this article traces evolution of bilateral relations between India and Canada. There has been a perceptible shift in the relations between two nations and this article focuses on the areas that offer opportunities for mutually satisfying and beneficial cooperation. - Reproduced.
