Summary, etc. This paper is based on the Eleventh Tarlok Singh Memorial Lecture delivered by the author during the 17th Annual IASSI Conference held on December 9ヨ10, 2016 in Chandigarh. Drawing upon his many years of experience and scholarship, this article summarises the author's views on the subject of agricultural policy and economic development in the state of Punjab.
