This paper presents a service life table for a five grade time-homogeneous Markovian manpower system based on the theory of multi-state life table. Expressions for the following are derived: the survival functions, the transition probability density functions, the conditional transition probabilities, the number of survivors, the number of transitions, the central life table transition rates, the survivorship proportions and the expected further duration of stay. - Reproduced |
