Summary, etc. The Senior Command Course is the most prestigious and highest professional course of the U.K. Police Staff College Bramshill. The U.K. Officers seeking admission to this course have to go through a competitive exercise. The competition is tough and the final selection is done by the Home Office on the basis of an interview. The officers from other countries are accepted on the basis of the recommendation of the concerned country and the British Council, their service record and the length of service. The objective of this course is to prepare officers for the highest posts in the police service of the U.K. and elsewhere in the Commonwealth. - Reproduced
