The economic empowerment and autonomy of women can be judged by freedom available with them concerning utilization of income and spending money. And the involvement of the women in important family decisions will help to understand the level of importance she gets in a family and society. After so many efforts from government for creating awareness among the people concerning women empowerment whether it is social or economic, results are not much encouraging. The main reason behind this is the lack of self-respect, confidence and self-efficacy in the women. After conducting survey and analysis of the data, researcher found that even though women are earning member, the respect or the decision power is not given to her like men. While studying it found that 14.5% women get respect from family and society. While only 10.75% women were involved in buying/selling of land/house and less than 20% women were involved in decision regarding marriage of children. – Reproduced
