Air pollution has become one of the major societal and environmental challenges in India that has put millions of people’s health at high risk. India has witnessed extreme pollution events (EPEs) that have become a major concern for the policy makers and decision makers. Therefore, effective and efficient management of air pollution has become the need of the hour.
