The India-Switzerland bilateral relationship and strategic partnership has developed over the last 74 years and it would be fruitful to throw some light on the origins of this diplomatic and strategic bonding between the two nations and how it has evolved in sectors such as economy, trade, education, health, infrastructure, clean technology, research and development and has showcased a perfect example of a symbiotic relationship at a global level. The two democratic nations, who have never been enemies, should aspire to further strengthen the cooperation with a determined approach and combined effort to address the global challenges, explore additional opportunities to further improve bilateral engagements and gear up to testify the relationship on the occasion of 75th anniversary of a diplomatic and strategic partnership between the two nations in 2023.- Reproduced |
