Summary, etc We evaluated the awareness level of online shopping in different socio-demographic categories of consumers in three coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, India viz, Mayiladuthurai, Thruvarur, and Thanjavur districts. Most of respondents were aware of online grocery shopping. The majority of the respondents still didn’t have awareness of the use of smartphones on online grocery marketing. Only awareness of pay TM was noteworthy. Gander, age, locality. Education monthly household income, family size, marital status, occupation, and number of persons employed in the family, influenced the awareness of online shopping. – Reproduced
