On February 24, 2022, great Ukrainian novelist Andrey Kurkow and his wife were awakened in their home in Kyiv by the sound of Russian missiles. At first, he could not believe what was happening. “ You have to get used psychologically to the idea that war has begun, ‘he wrote.
