The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), the national apex body for agricultural research education, and extension, is spearheading the lab to land programme through its 731 strong network of Krishi Vigyan Kendra’s (KVK), across the country. Like almost all sectors, lab to land initiatives has also embraced modern information and communication technologies to value-add speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
