Summary, etc The government of India passed the real estate (regulation and development) act (RERA), 2016 which is a milestone legislation enacted to preserve byres’ interest by ensuring openness, citizen centricity, accountably and financial discipline for seamless real estate transitions. It is known fact that the act has momentously enhance the real estate market situation. Yet, stricter enforcement is required. This study embarks upon an empirical approach to expire the effects of the RERA on stakeholders in the real state market of Ahmadabad city in India.
