India, as the largest democracy, has witnessed significant transformations, especially in governance models and electoral practices. The Northeast region serves as an intricate microcosm of India’s diversity, where political decisions must accommodate the interests of numerous communities.
In this context, maintaining democratic integrity while addressing regional complexities remains a challenge. Representation and inclusivity are crucial, as each state in the Northeast comprises a multitude of ethnic groups, each with distinct identities and aspirations.
