Industrialisation has been identified as the mechanism by which the necessary increase in capital accumulation and investment rates takes place, enabling the shift to self-sustaining development. This broadly accepted theory of the function of Industrialisation focuses on the national framework and the expanding economic indicators. It is both a cause and a result of urbanisation. This paper begins by examining the inception of Industrialisation and its subsequent expansion throughout the continent, ultimately proliferating globally.
