India is uniquely placed in terms of demographic dividends, with about 40 per cent of youth ( 18-35 years ) and over 62 per cent of the population falling under the age group of 15-59 years, which is expected to rise up to 65 per cent by 2035. This demographic dividend of India can be leveraged with the help of adequate strategic measures for integrated development and transformation of population into a tr3easure house of productivity and prosperity in general and with the help self-sustaining infrastructure development in particular. Infrastructure plays a significantly critical role, in economic development and acts as a key driver in sustaining the growth and development process amidst uncertain and challenging environments. The ripple effects of infrastructure investments include boosting the economy, improving the quality of life, fostering regional and balanced development, enhancing positive social impact, and foreseeing all encompassing economic and societal progress though innovation and technology integration. It is a fact that the inherently repaid growth of infrastructure will cause some environmental impacts an is likely to crate challenges for the nation.
