Summary, etc
The likely geopolitical effects of the Russia–Ukraine war include a reorientation of Russia away from the West and the creation of a group of countries that are unwilling to be a part of the global Western bloc promoting the rules-based global liberal order. While Russia is objectively contributing to the erosion of such a Western order and to a return to the rules proclaimed in the United Nations charter, it is ironically doing so by violating the very same UN charter.- Reproduced
