Summary, etc
The centralisation of admissions to institutions of higher education through national examinations does not imply justice and equity. Rethinking entrance examinations, which invariably favour the privileged, is necessary to ensure equitable education. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has to radically modify its techniques and framework to refute accusations such as its bias against students from marginalised backgrounds.- Reproduced
