Summary, etc Indian people cherish the ethos of 'unity in diversity' and stand tall with the pluralistic character of the nation. Therefore, accommodation of multiple aspirations of the diverse region becomes sinequa-non. The act of diplomacy, an attribute of sovereign states, is now gaining ground as sub- national activity. Paradiplomatic activities of local and regional governments in international relations are becoming increasingly important worldwide. Realizing the economic potential of the sub national governments and adding their voices to the global governance is the need of the hour. In Indian context, the federalization of foreign policy is a development of significant import. Given the size and diversity of India, endeavors of proposing a decentralized foreign policy aspect could be an effective diplomatic measure. The regional aspirations in India can be efficiently tackled by the national government, if ample opportunity and support is provided to the regional government on the front of external investment. In a country like India, with a federal structure, where resources of central government is limited and in the democratic setup, where periodic elections decide the fate of the ruling parties, a dynamic regional government cannot remain relied merely upon the assistance of the union government. This paper focuses upon the swift boost in paradiplomatic activities in India and creating such as equilibrium where Central and regional government are cooperating in order to bring the best of the economic deals from global community and hence able to met the regional aspiration. - Reproduced
