Summary, etc India's G20 Presidency is a watershed moment to cast its global footprint on the world, a world beset with multiple challenges today. The pandemic is not yet behind us, the world is distraught with inequitable growth patterns which have been further aggravated by the 3 F crisis, that is fertilizer, food and fuel crisis and to top it all, geo-political tensions and climate change catastrophe have impacted the current scenario, as never before. In this background, multilateral reforms are a dire necessity. Over the years, the mandate of G20 has transcended economic cooperation to include issues of global relevance, thereby combining geo-economics with geopolitics. Since, assuming the presidency, India has undertaken initiatives at various levels. It has collaborated with other nations to address issues of global concern, be it global hunger, clean energy transition and a global health agenda. Despite the earnest efforts, how far would India be able to voice the concerns of the global south and engage the developed countries to strive for long pending multilateral reforms, remains to be seen. India's democratic bearings, its economic clout and its expertise in various domains, will definitely set the ball rolling to push forward its agenda in its tenure as the G20 President, and beyond as well. The paper attempts to offer engaging perspectives on India's G20 Presidency and curates the contributions and challenges as well. - Reproduced
