The " Right to Information(RTI) Act" of 2005 is a key legal initiative in India that grants individuals the right to access information controlled by governmental agencies. The destruction of the environment and its influence on the natural world and human civilization are urgent worldwide challenges that demand an immediate response. Environmental activism is often portrayed as a powerful and effective instrument for addressing today's severe ecological concerns. This paper critically analyses the correlation between RTI(Right to Information) and environmental activism, focusing on its capacity to enhance transparency, accountability, and civic engagement. This study highlights the transformative potential of the RTI(Right to Information) in fostering sustainable environmental advocacy and preserving ecological balance, drawing upon interdisciplinary research. - Reproduced |
