520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc The role of women in Kerala’s marine fisheries sector is looked into, highlighting their evolving roles amid techno-institutional developments such as mechanisation and digital marketing. Despite the techno-social advancements, women face numerous barriers to mainstreaming. New opportunities are constrained with unequal resource distribution, lack of access to resources and infrastructure bottlenecks limiting their active participation. The prime mover of upward mobility in fishing villages is education. Acknowledging and supporting women fishers is crucial for a more inclusive and sustainable fisheries industry.- Reproduced
