| Summary, etc | India’s foreign trade policy has considerably evolved in the past 70 years. The trade policy choices reflect the changing rationale for using trade barriers over a period of time. In the past 27 years, anti-dumping (AD) measures have been used extensively among many trade instruments. India has filed 17% of the total global AD petitions, that is, 1130 out of 6582 cases between 1995 and 2022. The current study attempts to understand India’s AD policy position through the World Trade Organization’s Trade Policy Review Mechanism. Though a popular method for qualitative and quantitative analyses in management, psychology, health care sciences and communications, content analysis has been sparingly used in the international trade policy domain. An attempt has been made to apply qualitative content analysis research techniques in assessing the Minutes of the Meeting documents of the Trade Policy Reviews conducted for India.
