Summary, etc Blogs written by Indian mothers are important sources of understanding how motherhood and mothering are perceived and articulated in digital spaces. This paper analyses a sample survey of specific Indian mothers’ blogs from 2000 to 2025. It investigates how mothers use the affordances of blogging to negotiate “motherhood” as a patriarchal institution, to navigate “mothering” as a demanding yet fulfilling experience and also, often, to conform to models of neo-liberal feminism. The paper also situates these digital narratives in the larger discourse of contemporary Indian maternity. –Reproduced
