The core issue addressed in this article is the establishment of liability for artificial intelligence (AI) and he challenges associated with assigning legal responsibility and liability to such systems. Currently, the legal framework, specifically in India, lacks clear judicial precedents, legislative measures, or intentional convents conventions that address AI’s role when in conflict with the law. Such absence of a clear legal structure many be a factor for complexity while deeming cases where AI systems, are involved. An urgent question arises: Whether there should be new laws regulating AI activities or if the existing legislation should be tweaked to be able to regulate this new form of technology. – Reproduced |
