Reform effort in government is a continuous process in every country. In India, the Administrative Reforms Commission produced a series of reports concerning almost all the departments of the Government of India. The main objective of administrative reform is to develop and put into effect whatever changes are required to enable the administrative organs of a government to execute public policies in an effective and responsible manner.
