The globalisation has rendered the whole world into a big market. In these circumstances the role of administration and regulator is expanding in every sphere of life. In the changing ICT driven society police role is not confined to the prevention of traditional crime but with the advent of new technology crime is also emerging in new form like internet/cyber crime. In this article an attempt has been made to find out the challenges before the police administration and some suggestions have been made to make the police force more effective in prevention and detection of the new genre of crimes. - Reproduced. |
