Urbanization has been one of the most significant vehicles for the transformation of the societies over the last century. All the countries to a greater or lesser extent have gone through this process. But, the extensive urbanization process led to increasing number of slums which is a major concern in urban development. This article aims to analyse the factors responsible for increasing urban slums and tries to give suggestion for better improvement of urban slums. - Reproduced. |
