Summary, etc. In order to develop a feminist approach to public administration it is important to recognise that for many decades the discipline, like so many other sciences and social sciences was rooted in an ostensibly neutral but overly male, upper class, white mentality. Like so many other sciences and social sciences undergoing revision today, public administration too has come to be redefined in the light of feminist and other marginalised group's explorations of the subject, resulting in an expansion of its boundaries and a reassessment of its norms. - Reproduced.
