A diverse set of strategies is needed for checking or controlling corruption, which may include preventive, curative, penal and deterrent measures. Positive actions included in this list include motivation by rewarding the honest and upright people and an emphasis on periodical changes and pragmatic modifications in the procedures and systems. Ideas and practices that have worked in one place can be experimented in a different contextual environment.
