NagarlokSummary: Slum Tourism is a recent concept which has gained attention after depiction through popular media and films. It has been considered unethical and called as voyeuristic, exploitative. The authors have tried to review opinions of various other authors whether it is ethical or unethical to visit these slum areas as tourist destination. We have derived three parameters, i.e. social, cultural and economic on ethical and unethical side of slum tourism. The objective of the article is to identify ethical and unethical side of slum tourism. The exploratory study aims to get a better insight into slum tourism through grounded theory and content analysis of various research papers. - Reproduced.
