Some correlates of sexual anxiety

The sample consisted of 200 married people (100 males and 100 females) aged 25-45 years. A 2 x 2 factorial design with two levels of gender difference (male/female) and two levels of marital duration (less than 10 years/more than 10 years) was used for the study. PM Sexuality Anxiety Scale (Kumar, 1994) served as a measure for sexual anxiety. Analysis of results showed that only the variable of marital duration associated significantly with sexual anxiety. Attempts are made to meaningfully discuss the results. - Reproduced
