Indian Journal of Social WorkSummary: The present study aimed at examining the relationship of gender difference and marital duration with sexual anxiety. The sample consisted of 200 married people (100 males and 100 females) aged 25-45 years. A 2 x 2 factorial design with two levels of gender difference (male/female) and two levels of marital duration (less than 10 years/more than 10 years) was used for the study. PM Sexuality Anxiety Scale (Kumar, 1994) served as a measure for sexual anxiety. Analysis of results showed that only the variable of marital duration associated significantly with sexual anxiety. Attempts are made to meaningfully discuss the results. - Reproduced
