ISDA JournalSummary: The logic of a capitalist market economy consists in bringing the competition into play, so as to reduce production costs and maximise accumulation. Inevitably this implies a certain relationship of force where the inequality of the relationship becomes a key factor in the transaction. But as in all economic production, including the wider factors of distribution or funding, this is a social process where work plays a central role and the market relationship takes on a dimension of capital/work relations. - Reproduced
