Management in GovernmentSummary: This paper highlights the emphasis of Information Technology (IT) related training needs for the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in the coming Millennium. As the new Millennium approaches, the impact of technology on society is a subject of heated debate. The use of technology has grown exponentially. In the Academy, IT related training to Civil Services Officers is imparted by National Informatics Centre Training Unit (NICTU), to train them in different quarters of administrative fields. It has revolutionised many aspects of human organisations. It is the dissemination, processing and storage of information, primarily by means of computers. This paper includes matters concerned with the furtherance of computers and its implementation. - Reproduced
