The state of industrial finance on the parameters of access, availability and cost of capital has been analyhsed with a focus on the post liebralisation period. We found that in one hand there has been discontinuation, on the other side, there has been failure to create alternative robust financial institutions to provide adequate long term and working capital needs of the industrial sector which is heterogeneous in size, location, ownership and activity. - Reproduced
