University NewsSummary: The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by all the member states of the United Nations and has set a target of accomplishing peace and prosperity for the general population and the overall planet, both now and in the future years 1,2. These SDGs comprises of 17 goals, which put forth an urgent appeal to all the policy makers and Governments from both the high income and low and middle-income nations to join their hands together and work towards welfare of everyone1,3,4. It has been realized that we have to end poverty and other kinds of deprivations simultaneously, and this will essentially require strategies to ameliorate health and education, minimize inequality, and advance economic growth2,5. – Reproduced
