SeminarSummary: THE idea of sustainability has been pursued in many avatars, it is the panacea of all of humanity’s problems, a strategy, a concept, a state of a system, a theory, a paradigm shift, a way of thinking, a way of doing business, a movement, a discipline, a challenge, it is the problem and the solution and as it turns out, also the next revolution. It is true that sustainability, more than any other discourse, has the potential of being a practice that is, at its core, equitable, just and inclusive. However, sustainability in both practice and discourse has a blind spot when it comes to addressing historic realities of the different geographies of state and societies – colonial relationships and power structures continue to be the drivers delivering ‘the sustainable world of the future.’ – Reproduced
