In times of continuous transition, the environment also presented possibilities for numerous organisations. However, seizing those opportunities needed competent and adaptable workers, a strong and innovative mentality, and significant adjustments to the status quo in organisational development. The current study focuses on organisational development literature from notable publications recognised by the ABDC (Australian Business Deans Council). This study focuses on the trends in the literature related to organisational development, the distribution of those types of literature by journals and years, and the various purposes for which those studies considered organisational development as an intervention for the organisation, which can be regarded as a key factor in the transformation of an inflexible organisation into a more flexible one during times of global competition. –Reproduced
