The people involved in the production, sell and distribution of liquor have been motivated to change their business, were given helping hand by providing financial assistance to stand on their own feet. In fact, it was a herculean task, as stopping the liquor trade was a challenging task before the Police department. Several attempts were made to stop illicit liquor trade in the past but failed due to reluctance of the people. This paper focuses on how the Operation Parivartan, a positive campaign with positive intentions could literally bring out the people from such an illegal business.
