Governance of public-private partnership in health sector in India

Afterwards, it has become more prevalent in managing a country’s economic and social resources for development. In 21st Century it has been believed that unless non-state actors are not involved in development process, the goal of good governance cannot be achieved. For which private players are involved service delivery mechanism known as PublicPrivate Partnerships (PPP). Health service delivery is one of the prime sector for introducing PPP which has become an effective tool that ensures the efficient delivery of public health services to the beneficiary. The present paper focuses on examination of the Public-Private Partnerships in the health sector in India and also its functional aspects. The paper is based on secondary sources of data.
