Given the limited supply, continuously growing demand and declining quality of freshwater, it is imperative to safeguard and effectively manage this resource. In order to effectively address significant challenges to human health and environmental deterioration, it is necessary to adopt a comprehensive strategy for managing freshwater and wastewater. This approach should include inventive and context-specific methods, as well as active involvement from local communities. To attain better development outcomes, water must be made an integral part of all planning and management. Water had its impact on a wide range of aspects impinging on human wellbeing, from agricultural sustainability to food security, and further, environmental security. Therefore, it calls for a systematic thorough management.- Reproduced
