Ever since the inception of the child welfare policies in the country, the government of India has been taking many measures to improve the conditions of children in the country. The range of such polices and programmes spanned over the basic healthcare facilities to lactating mother in order to provide a safe and scored health. With the vision of imitating a comprehensive framework of child development in the country, the integrated child development sachem (ICDS) was launched in India, and the basic purpose of the programs has been to provide for such a framework of the development of children in the country that there does not remain any deficiency the nutritional as well as other health related issues in the growth of a child. – Reproduced
