Patri-Federalism: The state politics in contemporary India

Federalism in India after seven decades of independence is witnessing significant changes in all walks of life and faces a new set of challenges. This paper is an attempt to shed some light on recent disputes between union and state government and try to address these issues from sociological perspectives. As these issues are political in nature but their causes are deeply rooted in our social structure. -Reproduced
