The article examines the introduction of information and communication technology (ICT) in India’s judicial system and its implications on judicial procedures and governance, potentially influencing constitutional values like transparency and accountability. It conceptualises the functional and managerial aspects of smart judicial governance. As this is a new initiative, there is limited performance data regarding the application of e-justice technologies. Additionally, the article explores the conceptual framework of e-justice and the digital divide within India, analysing techniques and methods from qualitative and quantitative perspectives. It proposes a gradual transition towards new techno-cultural methods and emphasises the potential of these innovations in delivering justice to all communities and societies.- Reproduced
