Educational mismatch, specifically overeducated workers, encounters a wage penalty compared to their adequately educated counterparts. In contrast, skill mismatches have a more pronounced impact on job satisfaction, where underutilisation of skills negatively affects job satisfaction. Persistent gender- and caste-based wage disparities are seen.
