Project Management JournalSummary: In this thoughtlet I propose to expand current thinking about projects and temporary organizations to consider ecologies of temporary organizations. In this perspective, temporary organizations transcend the boundaries of permanent organizations to form quasi-permanent ecologies. I develop a triangular–recursive model of interaction between temporary organizing, temporary organizations, and ecologies of temporary organizations. Taking a time-as-process view, I consider the recursive processes to pivot around acts of temporary organizing.- Reproduced
