It is found that significant research attention is devoted to the selection, adoption and comparison of open source software (OSS) for developing digital libraries. More literature has been published on D Space and greenstone software. However, no research has been found on implementation of software by libraries of as institutions, organization offering specific congress and the use of any service provider in adopting and maintaining open source digital library software. – Reproduced
